I apologize in the delay of my message, as we had a planning meeting during my break today, which is when I usually compose my message. Below, you can find a picture of their weekly homework assignments, which should be copied in their agenda. This week in math, we are focusing on rounding to the nearest ten and nearest hundred. Students can review by watching the Brain Pop, Jr. video about Rounding. https://jr.brainpop.com/search/?keyword=Rounding Please email me if you are interested in your child watching this, as I can share the login and password with you (I am not allowed to post it online, however, I can share via email or messages.) Their homework this week will also focus on rounding to the nearest ten and hundred. If you click on the word homework, you can download an additional copy of the homework sheet should your child lose their copy or be absent. We are working on Math 4 Today Week #2 in their blue folder. We will complete the study guide together in class on Thursday and our test will be on Friday. If you sign your child's study guide, they will get an extra 5 bonus points added to their test! In science, we are still working on Chapter 1 Lesson 1, which is pgs. 8-11 in their science book. I originally planned to do their quiz on Wednesday, but I forgot we have guidance, so their quiz will be on Thursday. Students are bringing their science books home today to review. You can also access the digital version of their textbook online at www.pearsonrealize.com with the following login information (login - WES3B password - Woodruff3) Once you are in the website, you will go to programs and then eText. Please let me know if you have any further questions about this1 Students have their Monday Mail today. Their Dojo Report is stapled to the top. Please be sure to sign this and return it tomorrow so that they can earn a Dojo point! With the newsletter, there is a letter about our Schoology testing and the Third Grade Newsletter. Both of those documents can be found below and/or downloaded as a pdf. Please let me know if you have any further questions regarding this week of school. I hope everyone had a wonderful long weekend!
