We had our tornado drill this morning for Severe Weather Awareness Week. The kids did great and are prepared and knowledgeable should our area experience any severe weather. On a lighter note, my FAVORITE part about coming in every morning is feeding Val. She knows our schedule and is already out and waiting for her breakfast right at 7. She wastes no time! This morning, I ran the computer lab, so it was 7:45 before I got to the room. Bennett helped me record some footage of her eating so that we should share it with everyone. We LOVE watching her tail twitch before she pounces!
Stay tuned for more pictures!
Students are detectives uncovering all of the facts about life cycles for their perspective animals. This week's groups are the elephant, the clownfish, the guppy, the sea turtle, the penguin, and the frog. I can't wait to see their new Glogster presentations! They all cheered when I told them they would get to do another Glogster!
Have a wonderful Wednesday!
