The order form can be downloaded if you need another copy to send in tomorrow. Tomorrow, we will conduct our second session of Mock Testing for 3rd graders. They will be tested on writing. Please be sure that your child is at school on time, as we leave our classroom to go to the lab shortly after the news and announcements. This week's homework can be found on the agenda page below. You can download additional copies of the homework sheets by clicking on the photo. Please remember that homework is assigned every Monday and is due on Friday. If students do not have homework, the sit recess on Friday, lose a Dojo point, and also receive a homework strike. If a student has 3 or more homework strikes at the end of the 9 weeks, they are not allowed to participate in the homework celebration.
This week in Science, we are beginning our next chapter on natural resources. This week will be an introduction week.
In Math, we are continuing our focus on quadrilaterals. Students are also working on Math 4 Today #20 with our test on Friday. We will complete the study guide together in class on Thursday. Tomorrow is also our first "Turner Timed Test". Mrs. Turner came around today and talked about expectations and strategies for their first test. This will be our baseline data for all future tests. Students will have 5 minutes to complete 100 multiplication facts (up to 10x10). Please continue to study these facts at home until your student masters them. Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns regarding this week. I look forward to seeing everyone on Wednesday!
