Happy Monday, everyone! Please remember that we do not have school tomorrow, due to Election Day. Students do have homework tonight and Wednesday night. In math, we are beginning our unit on multiplication. Students will learn various ways to represent multiplication (equal groups, arrays, skip counting, and repeated addition) and will also learn about the properties of multiplication. There are some great videos to review these concepts on Brain Pop, Jr. and Study Jams:
In Science we are finishing up Chapter 2 Lesson 1 about energy. I hope to have students complete their quiz on Wednesday. It will be open book and completed as a group. Students have graded papers, 3rd Grade newsletters, and their Dojo reports today. Please sign these and return them on Wednesday so that your student can earn a Dojo point. The newsletter can be found below to reference throughout the week. Hope everyone has a great week.
