Good morning! I have attached the DREAM worksheet, Newsletter, and Multiplication Log for this week. You will notice that tonight and tomorrow’s section on the DREAM sheet is just a reminder about PASS testing. We will be PASS Testing tomorrow and Wednesday. Tomorrow will be an extended response to a specific writing prompt, and Wednesday will be multiple choice questions. Please encourage your child to take their time and do their very best! In Science this week, we will continue with our study of adaptations; primarily focusing on animal adaptations. We will discuss in depth camouflage, hibernation, and migration. Links are provided for Brain Pop and Study Jams clips. In Math, we are currently working on Math 4 Today #24. We will have our test on Friday, as usual. We are reviewing the concept of perimeter. Students often confuse perimeter and area, so we want to be sure they have an understand of both. We will practice this throughout the week, and it is also on the DREAM sheet for Wednesday and Thursday night. http://www.brainpopjr.com/math/measurement/perimeter/preview.weml http://studyjams.scholastic.com/studyjams/jams/math/measurement/perimeter.htm Please remember that Multiplication Study Logs are due Friday. These count as a homework assignment and as a grade. We are having our homework celebration this Friday, and unfortunately, some students will not be able to attend since they had 3 or more homework strikes during this 9 weeks. (Parents – I have emailed you individually if your child will not be going.) As of today, all students have completed their Math MAP Testing. I am extremely proud of their hard work and the growth that they have made. We updated blue cards (in the back of their agendas) this morning, and set PASS Goals. Please be sure to look at these and the growth they have made throughout the year. I am extremely proud of them! Please email me with any questions and concerns. I hope everyone has a wonderful day!
