We have been working to share information with each other so we can get to know our friends and build community. Students worked to complete a "Math about Me" outline that we are using to create a Math Window illustration. I enjoyed watching them measure each other's height and head circumference. They did a great job helping each other and working together to get their information. I also gave students the opportunity to come in front of the class and share their windows. I was very impressed by those that chose to share and their public speaking abilities! The students have been doing a GREAT job acclimating to our school and rules. They blew me away with their straight and silent lines today! We have also enjoyed getting our wiggles out by taking some Brain Breaks with Go Noodle! Today these guys rocked out to The Whip! Hope to see everyone tonight at 3rd Grade Orientation. I look forward to sharing some valuable information to help with your transition into 3rd grade. I have thoroughly enjoyed these first 2 days with both classes and I am excited about this school year!
