We went to the library today to research habitats. The kids did an amazing job – Ms. Beech was very impressed! I can’t wait to get back from Spring Break so the students can share their research and findings with their classmates! Ask your student which habitat they researched – see if they can remember an animal that can be found in that habitat and an interesting fact they found! Students used different books that Ms. Beech had pulled for us, but the main website we used was: http://wwf.panda.org/about_our_earth/ecoregions/about/habitat_types/habitats/ If you have free time over spring break, let your kids visit the website and read about the other habitats! *Special thanks to Ms. Beech for fitting us into her schedule and helping us become research and habitat experts! We LOVE visiting the library!
