In Science this week, we will continue our study of life cycles moving on towards animal life cycles. Students are required to know the steps in life cycles of mammals, reptiles, fish, amphibians, birds, and insects. We will complete several activities, allowing students to collect information and then illustrate the life cycle of butterflies, frogs, sea turtles, and salmon. I am providing these links in the event your child wants to view them from home as review. Butterflies Frogs Sea Turtle – YouTube Salmon – YouTube Insects In Math, we will continue practicing multiplication. We will focus this week on the properties of multiplication. Students are required to know the following properties: commutative, distributive, associative, identity, and property of zero. We will complete an organizer to illustrate understanding, also assigning each property with a nickname and visual icon. We are working on Math 4 Today #15. The assessment will be on Friday as usual. We will also begin taking our Kiwanis test towards medal achievement.
