I mentioned last week that I have had several people asking about science grades. Each week we read the lesson, answer questions, review, complete a study sheet, and then students complete the lesson check on Friday (students are allowed to use their book to look up answers). This week's lesson is Chapter 5, Lesson 4, which is pg. 212-217 in their science book. You can download an additional copy of the study sheet we will complete together in class on Thursday. You can also access the online version of our textbook by visiting www.pearsonrealize.com Mitchell's homeroom can login with login - mitchell3rd, password - Woodruff3 and Burentte's homeroom can login with login - burnette3rd, password - Woodruff3. Once you login, go to "Classes" and then the link for the eText will be on the right of your screen. You can also go to "Programs" and find the chapter/lesson and there are several informational videos and demonstrations you can access. We will complete the study sheet together on Thursday and the test will be on Friday. We will also complete a Core Bites study guide together on Thursday and have that test on Friday as well. Good morning! The agenda pages for this week can be found below: You can click on the pages to download an additional copy of the homework sheets if you need them. We are working on Math 4 Today #30 this week. We will complete the study guide on Thursday and our test will be on Friday as usual. Students will also have a quiz on Science Chapter 5 Lesson 3. Each week we read the lesson, go over it, complete a practice study sheet, and then they are allowed to use their books for the quiz. Students will receive their Dojo Reports and 3rd grade newsletters today. Please note all of the upcoming events on the newsletter. Ms. Mitchell posted a message on class dojo requesting snacks for testing.
Testing will begin on May 7th, and we need snacks for testing.
***Someone has signed up for juice and snacks for May 7th and snacks on May 9th. We still need drinks for May 9th and both for May 14th. Thanks in advance! We are working on Science Chapter 5, Lesson 2 about Food Chains. Please remember if you are willing to donate to our Watershed Ecology fund, we are still in need since we had several students who were unable to pay, and also had 9 classes scheduled instead of the 7 we thought. I told the kids that we are "upping the game" a little with homework because it is imperative that they learn their multiplication facts! Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday night, they will complete one of our Kiwanis tests for homework. We will complete the Math 4 Today #28 study guide together on Thursday and our test will be on Friday. |
