Good morning! I apologize about my the Monday message yesterday. For some reason it went into drafts and did not post. There is no homework for the week and we are working to complete a unit on the book/movie Hoot! Please be on the lookout for important announcements regarding our field trip on Wednesday. (via Remind)
This is one of the students' favorite Watershed sessions because they get to become paleontologist and actually keep the fossils they find! We will not have time for every student to complete the National Geographic Virtual Dig in class, so please allow your student to complete it at home if they wish. It's a really cool activity and the students always love it! http://www.nationalgeographic.com/seamonsters/virtualdig/ Please enjoy the photos from our Watershed sessions yesterday: Hello! Homework can be found on the agenda page below. There is no written math/science homework for the week.....only to study for the science test that will be given on Thursday and the Math 4 Today #34 Test on Friday. The Chapter 5 Study Guide can be downloaded by clicking here --> Study Guide. Correct answers can be found below:

We will also have a Turner Timed Test tomorrow and will test for Kiwanis each day. Thursday is the deadline for passing Kiwanis to get a medallion on Friday. Dojo reports, 3rd grade newsletters, and graded papers will be sent home today. Please be sure to sign them and return them tomorrow. (There are no graded papers for math/science, as I was absent on Friday and did not get papers to grade them over the weekend.) Please let me know if you have any further questions! Hello! Below you will find the agenda page for this week. NO MORE MATH HOMEWORK! (Other than reviewing the SC Ready packet tonight to 'study' for tomorrow's SC Ready Math test.) If you have not already paid for Watershed, Friday's Pay and Play, or our Field Trip, please send as soon as possible.
In math, we are working on Math 4 Today Week #33. We will complete the study guide on Thursday and our test will be on Friday. We will also have a Turner Timed Test and Kiwanis Test this week, so be sure to study/practice your multiplication facts! The kids are SUPER excited today! We came in this morning and had 13 baby chicks! We moved them under the heat lamp and while we were at lunch, 2 more chicks hatched in the incubator. They have LOVED getting to watch them, touch them...and learn even more about the life science behind this incredible experience. Enjoy the pics below!
